Most mfgs are proud of their Merino yarn and brag on the fact.
Merino comes in varying grades, however. Even coarse Merino is pretty
fine compared to say, Lincoln or even Wensleydale.

Hello everyone,
I'm curious to know how much of the wool sold around the world is
produced by merino sheep, but not labeled 'merino wool.' does anyone
have an idea, or a lead? Thank you very much for your help!
