Well, doesn't that just take the cake! You are a better person than I - I
would have handed him the blocks and told him to finish it himself.

I think using the extra fabric for sashing would be good; I don't
particularly like the "solid" blocks interspersed with the shirts but I do
think the shirt blocks need some color to frame them up a bit. I like the on
point appearance.
