Default On topic - too funny

I'll write about lunch with Gil and Bobbie later, but I had to share this.

Last night, DS had hockey, DD was at neighbors and I figured I could stitch
in peace at the rink.

There are two little kids in the warm room, brother and sister, ages 6 and
7, and they are talking non stop. These two had more energy then the entire
Mite (7,8 yo's) team on the ice and the two arriving Bantam (13,14 yo's)
teams combined.

So, I'm sitting there stitching and they want to know all about it.
How did I learn?
Does it hurt to poke the needle through?
When did I learn? Do my fingers bleed a lot?
Can they pet it?
When will it be done?
What will I do with it when it is done?
Oh, that is so soft. Can I pet it again?

I was exhausted when I arrived and totally drained by the time their big
brother got off the ice! Guess I know why the warm room was empty!!!
