Again I thank everyone for their thoughts. I am thankful that in the past
few months we had spoken which took several years. At least we said that we
loved each other, even though we didn't agree with one another.

I can say, though, that in spite of feeling exactly that pain when my
mother died in '85, since then I have had many reconciling
conversations with her in my own mind. She is much more reasonable now
that she is not corporeal, and doesn't have an ego to maintain.

May you be able to find the same kind of peace with your mother, too.
