Rolling mill thread... a bit of confusion...
 

Hi all.

If the recent batch of Ted Frater's posts seem out of sequence with the thread,
or slightly confused in sequence or something, the fault may be mine.

Ted finds that he has to post to the group by forwarding his messages via direct
email, rather than through the usual use of a news server. This can make his
posts a little ambiguous as to whether they're intended for the group or are
private emails, and when for the group, require seperate editing to convert to a
group message, making it easy for me to make mistakes. In the case of this
thread, we'd also been exchanging private emails. Whether on his part or mine,
apparently some of his messages I didn't post to the group were in fact
intended, at least in part, as newsgroup messages. My fault, if this looks a
bit scrambled or delayed. I hope I've got it sorted out now...
