Mickie, would you please forward a copy to me? BTW, the craft stores
also accept these cps. I am using the cps at ACMoores craft stores,
buying yarn for DD who knits. (all of her yarn stash was recently
stolen.)
Thanks,
Cea

Do you
have a list of "gotta haves" to shop for or are you just going for what
calls to you? Polly

I'm glad I'm not boring you all too much.....It's just too exciting. We are
down to 12 days and I can almost feel the sun on my skin. I have 17 shops
planned to visit straddled across the state and I intend visiting TSWLTH at
least 4 or 5 times. I *need* to buy some more spray baste as I've just used up
my last, a foot for curved piecing, I'm interested in one of the very fine
needle basting guns, Omnigrid non slip rulers,YLI thread, Fabric (lots of) and
batting, batting and batting !!! Plus of course anything else that catches my
eye. I think the best way forward will be to mail myself some parcels home on
the 'slow boat' that way we wont have to much baggage to get home. Its either
that or leave a child behind.........
The money aspect is really good at the moment for each £ we are getting $1.79
so thats making shopping look very appealing.
I think I should have an early night tonight. That way it will be only 11 days
that much sooner :)

That would have been so good but unfortunately we are not visiting anyone we
have just hired a house........ I will have to keep checking for the next few
days to see if another one is sent out to anyone on the NG.......fingers
crossed

You sound like a kid in a candy shop. I wish I lived closer just to take
you shopping. Darn. That's a pretty impressive list you have. It sounds
like your family is pretty good about letting you "out" for your quilting
fix. Good for you!

EMailed and Posted, more or less, actually less, as more is just too
repetitious:
Yuppie-Duppie! C'mon down! ACMoore's is just around the corner, as is
the dubious Joann's, Hancock, Michael's Crafts, and oodles of quilting
shops!

How do you get the spray baste home???

When flying from the US to England in December (moving here) I had a=20
spray bottle of waterproofing for leather and also a spray bottle of=20
"magic sizing" taken from my luggage, presumably by the TSA screeners.

I can live without the spray baste, but I miss the magic sizing no end!

Of course, I'm down to 16 days to go myself and can't wait!

Ground shipping. I don't believe even shops within the US are supposed to
ship chemicals or aeresols by air. I bought a couple bottles of Retayne and
was warned they'd have to be shipped ground UPS.

I am assuming that it will go into the hold with other aerosols like
hairspray...I dont think it will be a problem, however, if its a banned item I
will post it
