Scissors and Air Travel

The reason that most scissors are taken away by airport security is that
most scissors do not meet the requirements by TSA. Scissors that have only
a 1" blade length and has either a extra blunt end or full round will be
able to pass the airport security. Some people think that having the
"Safety Scissor" will get them through security. This is not true because
most "Safety Scissors" do not meet the above requirements, particularly the
blunted end of their tools. A blunted end tool still has exposed edges and
therefore they are not allowed! That is why you must have the extra blunt
or full round end.
