I'm back by
Heather Cross
Not that I've really been anywhere. I just haven;t had time to
quilt/sew/patchwork or keep up with the ng cos I've been studying hard for
my exams. But I had my last one this morning and now have 5 weeks to catch
up and get rid of those withdrawal symptoms I've been having.
I have two cot quilts...

Quilt Show by
Donna Liller
Hi everybody! On June 19th I went to the 25th Annual Schoolhouse Quilters
Guild Quilt Show in Cumberland Maryland. There were so many wonderful
quilts - I was completely awestruck! I did manage to take a few pictures if
anyone is interested. My DH accompanied me; he was totally impressed with
the...

I'm beginning to look for a sewing machine cabinet. Actually I'm looking for
the kind like Quilter's Dream from Horn of America, since I would have it
open all the time. I'd love to have your comments on quality, features to
look for, recommended manufacturers, good sources,...

photos to fabric by
Irrational Number
Hello Quilters,
What is the best way to transfer a photo to
fabric? I printed onto computer fabric tonight
and the colour is all weird and I don't want to
muck with colour settings. (That's why I get
my digital photos printed online... so I don't
have to deal with my printer!)
I considered...

Looking for Washaway Fusible Web by
Lenore Lawrence
Greetings,
Several months ago I was watching Martha Pullen and she talked about a new
washaway fusible web. I've been asking at quilt shops if they've heard of
this. Thus far, no luck.
Has anyone else heard of this? Was this a dream I had??????
Thanks for any help!!

new but related OT question by
Queen of Squishies
Now that I am on an open connection, how do I disconnect if DGD wants to
play games? I don't want her accidentally going online. Or can I
disconnect at all?

paper pieced quilt picture and irregular log cabin by
Julia Altshuler
These are 2 old quilts that I was very pleased with at the time and now
am going back and seeing all the flaws.
The Animal quilt is made with an Alexander Henry print for the animals
surrounded by irregular log cabin logs as described in Roberta Horton's
_Fabric Makes the Quilt_ to make different...

Jo-Ann Fabrics Quilt -of-the-month kits by
Michael Riley
Hi, I'm looking for the "Pathway to the stars" Quilt kits. Does anyone
have any idea where I might find the rest of them. It was from several
years ago. I checked on Jo-Ann web site and a search turned up nothing.
Thanks,
Mike

Liberty of London fabric by
KJ
I've been asked by a friend to track down Liberty of London fabric sources
online. She is doing a darling EPP Grandmother's Flower Garden from LofL
fabrics she bought in England. She has now run out of a very delicate solid
pink and is getting short on green florals. Do any of you know a good...

Well, had a great time at my nephew's wedding in Loveland (great place for a
wedding, huh?) but the only glitch was that it rained from the minute we
stepped off the plane to the minute we boarded for the return trip 5 days
later! Everyone there was thrilled with the rain since they are in...

Halloween Quilt by
Michelle in Gander
I started working on a Halloween quilt for me yesterday.
I had all these wonderful 10" Halloweem squares, thanks to Wendy (frood),
and wanted to do *something* with them. Anything. But I was having problems
deciding ona pattern, as I really loathed cutting them up. They are really
very pretty.
So...

slightly OT--Paducah by
judy in fort worth
My DH and I are making our annual pilgrimage to visit the family in
Illinois. This year instead of zooming straight up there and back, we are
making a real vacation of it. We are going to Memphis for a day or so to
see the Elvis stuff and then stopping in Paducah so that I can go to the
museum...

I graduated from university with honors, a BA - at the medium-ripe age of 41
That very same day, my BF and I put a deposit on a brand-new

Ever used Quilters Organizing Software? by
Susan Laity Price
I just saw an ad for Quilters Organizing Software. Does anyone know
anything about this product? It cost $29.99. I assume it is a form for
listing of books, tools, projects, etc. They also had a program for
Needleworkers and Knitters and Crocheters.

Red Hats on purple background fabric by
Roz in Montreal
I've seen this fabric of the red hats on a purple background
advertised at websites for anywhere between $8.50 and $9.00.
Yesterday, I was at TSWLTH and they had it for $5.99 and I had a 40%
coupon. My next stop was Walmart, and the same fabric was $3.69 of
$3.89. If it wasn't for my coupon, I...
