Roll Call: What did you do "quilty" today? by
Kate G.
I didn't get any sewing done... but did receive a special goody in the mail! Nancy's Notions had
advertised a great deal on thread with a nice storage case AND a sewing machine travel case. I
splurged. It came today. I am so excited!
I hope to get back to work on the DWR tomorrow.
Friday I...

grrrrrrr. Price gouging OT by
lisa skeen
Surfing around ebay this afternoon I found a FQ I liked, but the woman wants
$2 to stick it in an envelope and mail it. I emailed her and said she could
put it in an envelope and mail it for 39 cents, could she be more reasonable
on the shipping price. She said her prices were lower than anyone...

Whose due? by
AliceW
Ok, it's time to take the survey again - who is preggers in 2006?
It can be yourself or a family member.
When is the due date?
Do you know what the sex of the baby is? Twins? Triplets?
Are you making a quilt?
Bonus points for revealing the name choices.
Extra bonus points for the first RCTQ baby...

Spring Inspirations? by
[email protected]
Hi everyone:
With the weather beginning to warm up here in New Hampshire and
anticipating the gorgeous spring colors to follow, I am itching to
create a new wall quilt featuring spring colors. Yellow, purple and
green are on the top of my list, but I am also wondering what color
combinations make...

OT Why I am never visiting Oz even for free beer by
NightMist
I don't much care for beer any way, and this just about put me off for
life:
http://www.ntnews.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,7034,18529468%5e13569,00.html
The resulting extremely cautious search has resulted in my resolution
to never ever visit Austrailia ever.

Frapper Quilts by
Frank Reid
In the past, folks have asked if I could post pics of Brenda's quilts.
Found a new and very free way of doing just that: Frapper.
Google has a new service that is very easy to post pictures. I set one up
for RCTQ at http://www.frappr.com/rctq
Have a blast. One thing thats really nice is that you...

OT needing ice cream experts by
Polly Esther
DH is a very good sport about our 'fat-free' diet but ice cream used to be
such a favorite of his. So. Therefore. I am going to invent wonderful ice
cream that doesn't contain egg yolks or fat. The stuff at the grocery
leaves an after-taste much like Mop 'n Glo and I'm sure 'we' can do...

Questions for Hug Hostesses by

Diana Curtis wrote:
Id like to open a discussion about making Hugs or group quilt projects.
There is nothing more emotional than making a Hug, it has to be one of the
most joyful things we can do with our art. Having participated in a few now,
two as hostess and a few as the quilter, I...

OT - What do you get the woman who has everything? by
georg
I'd love a few suggestions for what to get Gram for kissmoose. She's 92,
and will tell anyone that she doesn't want anything. I used to get her
pink catawba wine (because she would have half a glass with dinner).
When the doc made her stop, I bought her good chocolates. The Doc made
her stop that...

Getting to know the folks here by

For me it was just a matter of finding the most easy to remember names and
personalitys first ( you can take that anyway you like but what I mean is
the most outspoken, and quirky names and temperments, then the others became
more familiar as the years went by. Squeaky wheels are the easiest...

Where does everyone keep their stash?? by
Morag in Oxford
Hi all,
Well, my stash of fabric has now grown to such a size that it's too much for
its current home! up until now it has been stored in a plastic crate, in no
particular order as there wasn't that much to look through when I wanted
something.
But recent Ebay purchases (hubby has banned me from...
