Sensory by thelaws
Alex just had that type of a baby quilt, minkey, cotton, flannel, chenille, and I would add wool. corduroy, silk or nylon, canvas, maybe plastic woven as used in patio chairs. This could be really fun-to make and to use Kay -- All outgoing mail is scanned by Norton Anti Virus software.

postscript to the recent Hug request by Queen of Squishies
For the Hug request I sent out this morning, there is this addendum. It's to be an angel theme if and where possible. An angel block, or angel fabric, either one. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, and would like to be included, please email me. RisingStars @ KarenTucker.com (remove the...

Thanks Everyone by Shirley Ellen
Thanks to everyone who commented on my website. I'm getting more and more addicted to quilting. I had to hold myself back all weekend from "just popping in" there. I finally gave in yesterday... I went and bought the material to make the Thimbleberries pattern I won. I chose material that...

TSWLTH: Recent issues by TMMRR
Has anyone had issues with Joann.com this month? They had some sort of problem with their shipping, and now I think my pitiful little shipment of eight spools of thread is lost forever. I ordered them on the 11th, and now the tracking system is down. They had sent me a code to get $15 off my next...

OT Flat Tire by Nann
(Spew warning! -- Nann) Yesterday I had a flat tire on the interstate. So I eased my car over to the shoulder of the road, carefully got out of the car and opened the trunk. I took out two cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my car facing oncoming traffic. They look so life...

value in fabric by Cheryl in Oz
You can buy "Ruby Beholders" (pieces of red perspex) to look through for helping to determine colour values too now. They work, but I made a couple from old embroidery frames with some coloured cellophane paper - double thickness, one set of red and one of green. The green is to use when looking...

Not really OT ...or is it? by Julia Altshuler
I used to have a friend who would bring me clothes from the second hand store and broken items with which to decorate my house. Once she presented me with a torn decorative umbrella that she was sure would look great in my apartment. I tried saying politely that she shouldn't have, that I had...
