Hi there. I have a modern style office desk set that uses tempered glass as the desktop surfaces. I want to replace the glass with a laminate surface. Is it possible to add a laminate on top of the tempered glass or would that be just plain dumb. :) I appreciate any feedback!

i'm making some door transom panels. rectangular. anyone have a lead on the hinge and catches that are used for these? i recall they used a catch with a loop, and one used a long pole with a hook on the end to open/close them. it would be nice if the hinge allowed easy window removal.
