Source for Desag Glass by
Jim Kooi
Hi,
Does anyone know of a retail source for Desag glass in the U.S. (preferably
in the Midwest). If no retail sources, then on-line?

Dennis: Own up! by
[email protected]
Dennis,
Times up and were all dying to know. Give us your teaching credentials
and your educational background. You've skirted the issue long enough.
You're constantly telling everyone about how much you've taught and how
many....so let's see the facts and get it over with.

$200 For Interview Of Expert Glassblower/Flameworker by
Cory_FNnJ
Hey folks,
I'm looking to interview an expert glassblower for 30-45 minutes and
ask him/her a series of questions related both Glassblowing and
Flameworking.
You will need to have expert knowledge of both glassblowing and
flameworking because the questions asked will involve both of these
areas.

soldering stained glass with hardware store solder? by
n2dwoods
Hi, just curious if anyone out there solders stained glass with the
cheaper solder you can find in the plumbing dept of home depot? They
only carry lead-free solder, and it's $6 for a pound, yet in the hobby
stores the lead-free solder specifically for stained glass is over
$20. Is it the same...

Software for stained glass desing - recommendations ? by
Adrian
HI All
Until Christmas most of the stained glass work I've been doing has
been smaller pieces (suncatcher-size) - either to one of my own
designs or on the basis of 'what looks right from the 'scrap' bins.
This year I've been a bit more proactive about selling my stained
glass (and the fused...

Michael[_2_]
Greetings,
My name is Michael. This is my first post to the group. I'm just
starting in stained glass. Can I mix opalescent and transparent
(translucent?) glass in a window, or should I stay with one or the
other?
Also, are there some good mail order places for supplies? I'd like...

Have you noticed? by
Moonraker[_2_]
There is a long thread on warmglass.com about Canadians buying supplies, and
how hard it is for them to do business with supply houses.
I thought it was especially telling that NOBODY mentioned Brady as a source
for anything. It's too bad he got banned from WG, he could be spamming the
hell...

Borax info by

G'day all,
I am trying something new, and get devit with this one particular type of
slumping project, coming off 720oC / 1328oF or so, but only with this one
recent project.
Normally work with float, and coming off same programmes have no devit
problems, but this is bottle glass. I don't crash...

I have two sets of new, unopened molybdenum disilicide elements for a

Which mastic is best? by

Hey, I need help. I want to glue a mirror to the inside of my
TV entertainment center. I ordered the glass (27x38) but the
glue (putty colored) that Biswanger sold me didn't work and
I held it in place for over an hour. It very slowly slid down the
wall of the cabinet but didn't break, thanks to...
