OT front loading washers by
Taria
Time to upgrade my washing machine. Water going up 29% and I need to
reduce. The old machine (as Candice Olsen would say) doesn't owe anyone
anything. It has served long and hard. I'll take any good and bad
comments or things to watch for in the newer front loaders.
Oh, I prewash my fabrics so...

commercial sites on our photo list webpage ? by
Kay Ahr[_2_]
I set up a webpage with links to our quilting photos --
http://www.geocities.com/rctq_quilters/
I intended for this to be a collection of personal webpages so we could
share our efforts.
I've had a request to put two commercial websites in the list. My first
inclination is to refuse. ...

what's your favorite while quilting? by
Karen, Queen of Squishies
If you listen to music while quilting, what do you like to listen to? I
have 944 mp3 files (all legal) on my computer. I'd like to hit a thousand,
and I like all kinds of music. I would be interested to know what y'all
like. Also, when do you listen to it? While piecing? Ironing? Basting?...

OTOT fashion whine by
Polly Esther[_2_]
It has always been difficult to be a junior high size - at 18, 21, 41, 61
.... well, Always. Today it became even worse. I puzzled that all the
women on the tv news, weather and whatnot were wearing low-cut New Year's
Eve party clothes and their WonderBras. Today it hit home.
I ordered...

OT - RCTQ directory volume 13 is OUT by
LN \(remove NOSPAM\)
I just sent the directory out to all who are in it. The subject name does
NOT say "RCTQ directory" cuz I'm an idiot. LOL What it will say is either
"Table version (.rtf) and excel" or "Text Versions". So, PLEASE! If you do
NOT get it soon, check your deleted folder before contacting me....

Our family is honored (and surprised) to have a 6 year-old boy join us

Christmas. DH and I had planned to go shopping tomorrow just for the fun of
watching the general last-minute madness, you can see how easy it is to
entertain...

Sewing room set-up by
WhansaMi
Hi all!
I'm going to convert our guest bedroom (small...probably 10 by 12) into a
sewing room for myself. I'd like to get some ideas about how to set it up, and
thought I'd get input from knowledgeable quilters. I've ordered a Draft a
Quilt table, which, when not in use, can be set flush against...

My machine is a bit dead.... by
Johanna Gibson
Hiya folks,
My sewing machine is a bit dead. The wee clamp that holds the
sewing needle in place snapped in half last night. Just like that. I
was sewing denim, yes, but I was using a jeans needle, very low
tension, and it was only 2 thicknesses. No I did not hit a metal stud
- I have already...

A question about rotary cutters. by
AlenasMom
I'm typing one handed, so please excuse any spelling mistakes.
Do you find a rotary cutter useful? (Is this a dumb question?)
Where did you find yours, and roughly how much are they?
