Please pray for the surgeons and for me that I can return to family,

I think I may have just found what I want Santa to bring me! Of course, the
brand of it has disappeared from my brain - but I think it was a Domestic.
Anyway, it comes in a cabinet in fairly good shape, with a full box of
accessories and feet, plus the original manual and a warrenty...

baby prayers and good thoughts requested by
Debbi
Larisa,
Matthew had severe reflux until he was 2 and then poof it went away.
According the a lot of the members on my Ompholocele newsgroups (these are
kids who are born with their intestines on the outside of their bodies, some
even include other organs), there is medication which can help. Baby...

OT - who can tell me about Ativan? by
Queen of Squishies
You can take it private if you don't want to clutter up the ng. I just have
a few questions about this medication. No, it's not for me, it's for my
Dad. But his caregiver is strongly opposing it, and I need some more facts.
Thanks.

semi ot--quilting superstitions? by
ChaCha
since halloween is just a few days away...any superstitions that you follow? i
have avoided heart patterns and that whole rose of sharon book (not sure of the
title exactly, but it is lovely!) because of the superstitions associated with
them (that young women shouldn't do these patterns until...

move the photos there.)

OT Time out! by
Pat in Virginia
Could we all have a 'time out' please?
Could we all try to avoid pointing fingers and calling names?
Could we all just resolve to concentrate on quilting and sewing
(and posts about same) for the next 24 hours?
Thanks,
PAT ... my quilt topic is that I won a large spool of Star C&C
Thread today...

OT - Old Hollywood Squares by
LN \(remove NOSPAM\)
If you remember The Original Hollywood Squares game show and its comics,
this will bring a tear to your eyes. These great questions and answers are
from the days when "Hollywood Squares" game show responses were spontaneous
and clever, not scripted and (often) dull as they are now. Peter...

what's a round robin? by
Medium Gnome
I've been quilting since '88 or before but still act like a newbie
sometimes.
Even thought I have heard about round robins and seen the wonderful results
of many I still haven't figured out exactly how they work, who does what,
who gets what, etc.
Anyone care to give a brief explanation?

FINALLY: Fall One-to-One Fat Quarter Swap by
MelissaInNJ
Before I call for participants, this Fall One-to-One Fat Quarter Swap
is RCTQ's choice as far as theme is concerned. So what do you all want
to swap? Last fall it was "fall themed" so don't know if you want to
do that again or do something different. Majority wins so fire your
ideas...

Aiming problems by
Nell Reynolds
Kate Dicey's tales of why young men in barracks cannot always hit the target
reminded me of something that was related to me as the truth.
Two third grade San Antonio teachers took their students on a field trip to
the local horse race track (one of three in Texas). When time to return to
school...

I spent this afternoon cleaning out my closet and drawers of all my "fat"
