OT - Health Update by
Sharon Harper
Anyone not interested can just skip along to the next post!!
As y'all know I've been having some problems. The 'scopy showed nothing
"nasty" and have not heard back about the bits sent for further tests so am
assuming all is a-ok. The doctor did say it could possibly be IBS
(irritable bowel...

They are just awful - what to do? by
janice142
So, today I ran across stacks of quilt blocks I'd stitched when I first
started. They are AWFUL. Truly (gulp) um, well, there is no way to say
it politely: they are awful. Dreadful. Sigh.
The lines are wavy, the points don't match, the colors are combined in
a way only a beginner would, the sizes...

OT - 2 new QIs rescued by
Sharon Harper
Yuppers, while I was slaving away at work today DH took the DDs to the local
animal shelter to see the cats (something we've been doing since Merlot
passed). Maddy had reached the go-kart goal she'd been set and all systems
were go.
Please allow me to introduce to you..... Maisie the Majestic...

Any one know someone who did not know they were pregnant till 8 months
or farther along?
I just got a phone call from our 4 year old grandsons mother letting us
know she is pregnant and has to move. Her and DS split up almost 2
years ago, but we stay in touch with her so that we can still see...

OT - Prayer Request for a child by
Tina
Being the very appreciative recipient of a huge bundle of love and
prayers this week, I feel almost ashamed to ask for prayers today - but
I absolutely have to. Not for myself though, for Billy.
It's a long, years old story - but it appears that we are headed back
to court again. Since my...

So, now Jo's in Paris and having all the fun, how about an European
stash raid ??? Anybody come with me to Scotland ? I know where her

new Huggers - anyone? by
Queen of Squishies
There has been a minor flurry of new huggers signing up since Annie
wonderful post about the after affects of having one of her own. So while
I'm at it, is anyone else interested in joining the Hug list?

How do you organize your thread? by
Robin
Guess what I'm doing!
Do you organize your thread by color, by fiber content, by spool size, by purpose, or do you have so many spools that you can organize it all these ways?

OT -- Feeling a bit rushed.... ;) by
Sandy Foster
I may not be around much for the next couple of weeks. I'll still be
home most of the time, so forget the stash raid; it's just that I'm
going to have a house guest beginning on Tuesday, and I'm trying to get
the house undecorated and ready for that right now. And this house guest
is *really,...

Talons of Doom Redux by
NightMist
OK I have griped enough about DH's toenails that y'all know by know
that they should be registered as lethal weapons.
Currently I am getting myself screwed up to tackle mending the
_mattress_!
Where his feet go, there is a hole.
The darned thing has been turned and turned again, and his side...

discouraged & hunting some on- topic posts to be inspired????????? by
Kris Bishop
Hi All,
I just signed on to read my daily RCTQ and was hoping to see some
topics about quilting to inspire me. I've been on this newsgroup for
about eight years and am finding it harder to find topics about
quilting here. There were just a few this morning to read.
I'm like the next person and...

Pre-washed squishies/hug blocks by
Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
Okay- this "to wash or not to wash" topic comes up frequently. This
brings up a question.... how do we determine if a pre-washed
squishie/hug block will be welcomed?
Every fabric I buy goes straight to the washer and dryer with softener.
All three of us smoke- sadly. When I want to squish...
