Drilling Turquoise by cmyers
I have some very pretty Chinese Turquoise cabs (many 8X6 mm). Can I drill holes for stringing or to add wire? Acording to the supplier the turq. is natural, polished, some are waxed. Most pieces are on the thin side, 4 mm or so. Thanks for any input. Carol

Kudos to Tabletop Studio! by Kalera
Some of you might remember my frustration in dealing with Adorama last month... well, this month I have a story that is a study in opposites compared to my other experience! I felt I should post it since I ranted and raved so much about Adorama. :) Last week I ordered a three-light set and a...

AD: Mini update & my new Etsy shop by Paulette Insall
Hey everyone! I know, I know...I've been MIA again, but I have a really good reason...at least for the past week or so. My Mom's been here visiting from Florida, so I was limiting my computer time so I could spend as much as time as possible with her before she left. She just left yesterday and...

Stringing Venetian Glass Beads by beadboggled
I need to restring 2 long strands of what I think are old Venetian glass. They are about 9mm, and are baroque rounds with silver foil. The strands are probably 36 inches or more long. They were originally knotted. The holes seem a bit rough and are about 1.5mm. Would knotting again be the best...

Found the striped Czech seeds! by monique
Osiris has all the colors--and for less than half the price of the other vendor I'd found. Placed an order early Saturday and it has already shipped. They seem to be great to deal with--good prices, great communication, friendly e-mail. Right now they only have seeds and cut seeds on the...

Good Source for Chain by Kathy
I am intrigued by the newer multistrand designs that use chain. Anyone know a good source to buy chain. I will probably go with gold plate or gold tone. Gold filled is a bit too steep for the kind of design experimenting I want to do. Thank you :) KathyH

Stringing Medium Question by Gina Bull
Yes, Dr. Sooz, I do have a question! I mostly make bracelets, but have recently branched out to necklaces. My first one was strung on silk, but I'm not sure it has the qualities I want for my next one. The first requirement is that I must be able to knot it instead of crimp it. I cannot use...
