OT - finally feeling Christmas.... by
Johanna Gibson
Hello folks,
As of noon on Thursday all the assignments have been handed in, and
as of Friday I had recovered from the many, many rounds of drinks our
Criminal Advocacy tutor bought us. It was almost enough alcohol to
make us forget the 3 big assignments with which the course
administrators have...

OT-miniature garden pictures by
Joanne Passmore
Susan- thanks so much for sharing these pics. I love all things miniature
and have built two (to scale) dollhouses in my younger years. Also spent
several years making miniature quilts for dollhouses, bell pulls, furniture
and even calligraphy. Your husband is a very talented and imaginative...

Unbirthday Squishie by
Bonnie NJ
Thank you to whoever sent the unbirthday squishie. You are a very sneaky
person - even the postmark was unreadable!
The fabric is delightful, so cheerful. Thank you for thinking of me

Water heater blanket by
jennellh
I finally was able to purchase a water heater blanket this week and
today was the day that I installed it! I am quite pleased with myself
for fitting the fibreglass quilt around the tank without too much
hassle and it looks neat. I have visions now of Winston having a new
bigger climbing post...

Offer SM Parts by
Bobbie Sews Moore
Unfortunately my older Dressmaker machine quit on me! I have replaced it,
but took off as much as I could, and now I am offering parts to anyone on
RCTQ that might can use them. I have the power cord and bobbin chase, as
well as some thread guides. Anyone here interested?

Quiltsmart...... by
Sunny[_2_]
Not long ago there was a discussion about quiltsmart -- the product
that lets you make complicated patterns by a combination of flip and
stitch and fusible backing. I just want to go on record as saying
these are NOT idiot proof.
I've always wanted to make a Texas Star. I'm from Texas and I love...

DP template size?? by
dogmom
Grrr. *Thought* I knew what I was doing. My unfinished Drunkard's Path block
is 6 3/4. Finished--6 1/4. I thought the insert would be 4 1/2" and I would
cut out 4 1/4. Now --now that I've cut into my gorgeous midnight blue
batik--it's being grumpy. Sewed more creases in that poor block than I...

OT - Elderly Gentlemen (joke) by
LN \(remove NOSPAM\)
Two elderly gentlemen that were Wal-Mart greeters, were sitting on a
bench at the entry way when one turns to the other and says, "Slim,
I'm 73 years old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know
you're about my age. How do you feel?'
Slim says, "I feel just like a new-born...

OT Browser add-on for better printing by
Allison
Help!!!
A while back someone posted info on a great add-on for printing web
pages. With it you could get rid of the sidebar ads and any other stuff
that you didn't want to print. When I had computer problems this past
summer I had to reinstall Windows and in the confusion I lost this...
