green granite opal needed by
Glassman@work
I'm looking for a square or 2 of a mint green granite. It's a bent panel
from a big old fruit lamp. Wissmach or Kokomo, but can't find a number for
it. Kind of dense looking opal, until you hold it to the light, then it's
pale wispy green. Anyone kind enough to help out, and I'll email you a...

I'm a TV Star! by
Glassman
One of the HGTV do it yourself type shows will be shooting an EP on SG at
my studio in a couple of weeks. I'm sure I'll get on camera and make a fool
of myself for 90 seconds or so after it's edited. My biggest probelm is what
to wear to cover up my old fat body? I'll keep ya'll posted.

Anyone building their own kilns? by
Byrd
I am trying to get started doing some glass and pottery crafting. I am
having to do it on my own and with the aid of some books. I live 150 mi
from the nearest school with any similar art programs and probably couldn't
afford the tuition if it was next store, we're barely affording keeping the...

Running pliers by
Moonraker
I've been doing some small, pretty delicate stuff recently.
My running pliers have a jaw width of about 1" or more. I'd like to find
some runners with a much narrower nose, maybe 1/2" to 5/8". I've been
using some ring jaw pliers with some success, but got to wondering if there
were some...

Software for stained glass desing - recommendations ? by
Adrian
HI All
Until Christmas most of the stained glass work I've been doing has
been smaller pieces (suncatcher-size) - either to one of my own
designs or on the basis of 'what looks right from the 'scrap' bins.
This year I've been a bit more proactive about selling my stained
glass (and the fused...

I've got an old well in one of the rooms in our house. It's covered by

actually made from 2 discs laminated together. One of the glass discs
is about 30mm/1.25 ins thick the other about 12mm/0.5ins thick. The
