PING Jo caramel apples by
Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
This is a really cool but different take on caramel apples. You may want to try this instead of the ones with the caramel sliding off ;-) for ease of eating plus the originality!

Book bragging by
Marcella Peek
Hi! I was asked to write a glossary for a friend's latest quilting
book. The book is due out on April 12 but last night the publisher let
us know that they are going to also do an e-book download version that
is on sale starting today. So, I'm here to brag that I'm sort of
published :-)
The...

For "Drop The Feed-dogs Cowards" only!!! by
Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
I have found a way to do a small project that will gain you some
confidence in free motioning. My greatest shame is that I'm scared to
free motion- dropping the feed-dogs terrifies me with the mere thought
of it! There.... I've admitted it! So, I forced myself to do some
small free motion...

Stash Building by
Sherry
Just curious. When you run across a fabric that you just dearly love,
but have no idea what
you're going to do with it, or nothing at home that really complements
it, how much of
it do you buy? Just in anticipation that you WILL use it in a quilt
pattern some day?

Pfaff machine by
Sunny[_2_]
Hi, I'm in a quandry and thought maybe one of you would know. I picked
up Mom's Pfaff 2124 and took it to the local Pfaff shop hoping they
would take it on consignment and sell it for me so I wouldn't have to
fly it back home with me. The woman there curtly informed me that it
was the worst machine...

My dd is choosing classes for HS. She enters 9th grade next year (who knows
how THAT happened. She's only 3!). She asked me to help her look at the
different classes with her. They offer quilting as a class!!!!! She wasn't
interested tho. I guess she feels she can get that at home. But they...

Delurking with a Question by

I'm delurking (been reading again for a couple of weeks) to request your
suggestions for:

in retro 30's patterns for a "summer...

What kind of thread do you use and what kind of stitch... blanket or hidden?
I'm hoping to at least wash the fabric today.

It's been a long time by
Kathy Morris
Hello everyone!
Wow, it's been a long time since I've been on RCTQ and it's so nice to see
so many familiar faces. A lot has been going on in my life, but I think
it's finally calmed down enough to begin regularly reading once more. I've
got a lot to catch up on.
I've done a bit of quilting, and...

Spent the entire day at the Road to California Quilt Show. Had an absolute

get to the correct freeway. We made up our own way and were in the...

pout: can't do any stitching well today by

Because my dear QI kitty Mir accidentally bit the h**l out of my left
index finger (right through the first joint) and it is infected and
swollen like a sausage. I've got ten days of antibiotics thanks to
that little furball. (I've been researching the joint problems,
meningitis, tendinitis,...
