confessions and email addy's by
Jessamy

having made a secondary email addy and using it for a while with no problems
I had a spot of bother a few weeks ago...
this resulted in me suddenly not receiving emails and initially not
noticing - it took till today to work out what had gone wrong... I...

Accurate Seams by
joan8904 in Bellevue Nebraska
I had an interesting day yesterday. I taught my NYB class from 9 to 12
and Pineapple from 1-5. This was the first time for the Pineapple
class and I was somewhat apprehensive, mostly about pacing. NYB takes
every bit of 3 hours for the students to finish one block. As it turns
out, Pineapple...

Are we having fun yet? Some of the pictures are a bit blurry, but the
batteries in the camera are going out and I wanted to get the pictures
loaded.

Embroidered Quilt Labels by
craftydragon1951
I saw a suggestion somewhere to put spare pieces of fabric to match the
quilt under the label. Then if the quilt is damaged at some later
date, the owner has matching fabric for repairs. The fact that it has
been washed with the quilt is a plus, they will have faded too. Maybe
that will help...

itty bitty scraps by
quilter
Hi all,
I finally got back into quilting today - well, not quilting exactly,
but sorting through fabric, prewashing, etc., which is almost as good.
Instead of doing what I set out to do, I ended up sorting through my
scrap bin. I've put together a ziploc bag of tiny scraps, mixed
colors/themes,...

Irish Chain Quilt by
Dannielle
Ok, so I have a friend who has decided to marry sometime next spring
(how's that for a date?) and I have decided that an Irish Chain Quilt
will be the gift. So I have been looking at the different patterns,
and decided I don't like the way Marcia does it on her site. So I
found one at...

Last years BOM quilts. by
Sally Swindells
DH was asking how you start a new thread here - said he was going to
tell you I am completely mad - so I thought I'd better do that myself!
I am trying to get the BOMs (why did I do two?) finished so I can
start the other things I have in my head. I've put them both together
into two very large...

Let the begfest begin! by
Kathy Applebaum
At the EBHQ show, one of the vendors gave me a small book (16 pages) with my
purchase. Having absolutely no need for this book, I'd love to pass it along
to someone who can make use of it. Nothing expected in return -- just enjoy
it with a smile.
The book is called "All Fenced In" and has...

What type of machine do I have? by
ellen
I have a Kenmore 17881 sewing machine and I want to buy a walking foot
for it so I can do some machine quilting. Sears has 2 different types,
horizontal and vertical. I don't know which one I have. I have the
manual and it doesn't say. Does it have to do with how the bobbin drops
in? Help...

Glendale Quilt Show by
Debbi
Went to the Glendale Quilt Show today. Traffic going up was horrible. We
left around 10 AM, got there around 11:30 or so. Found a parking place
immediately (ladies, when you go, make sure you take your parking ticket
inside and pay, you save $2). Went wandering around looking at the
vendors first....

Little Mike's {{{HUG Quilt}}} by
Tia Mary
Hi Guys,
Well, I have a photo of Little Mike's HUG posted to my Webshots
album. It's at the end of my HUG {{{Quilt}}} album. There's a link
below in my siggy line for my Webshots site. The quilt was delivered
today and they apparently took a bunch of photos. Who knows what that
means -- we're...
