Does anyone use and recommend the Ultimate Needlework System 4? by
sewingsusan
Hi! I am new to this list. I recently started doing crewel
embroidery and have discovered it to be a "crewel addiction" :-). I
did a search and read some past posts on crewel embroidery - for now I
have been learning the ropes with some "vintage" Erica Wilson and Elsa
Williams kits which I got...

OT - Interesting Read by
Cheryl Isaak
Spin Sister - Myrna Blythe - inside the "women's" magazine industry. I
stopped reading them years ago, now I understand why. Real eye opener in how
interviews are booked, designers are reviewed and the politics behind it
all.

OT, advice on e-bay selling, please by
Boohoo1971
This is all needlepoint. I have two pretty good size painted canvases and the
yarn for them. They are medieval ladies etc and are nice canvases and DMC
tapestry yarn. Both were purchased in England about 6 years ago. I also
have a kit of a medieval type rabbit, again good quality stuff. Last...

Floss for Mother's Day by
Caryn
Armed with the floss list I needed for the design which features her cat my 8
yr old daughter dragged Dude into Micheals to buy me floss for Mother's Day.
She got two of each of about 10 colors from the list.
Her reasoning was that Mommy needs one now for JoJo, but the other one is...

AFARR update - May 2004 by
Beth Katz
The AFARR is now with Lollee (Linda) Roberts in Texas. She is working on the T.
She'll hand it off personally to Jamie (also in Texas) for the U, but it may go
to Anne of the Y before that because she is now also in Texas.
So Joan, you may have to wait a bit.
If you don't know what I'm talking...

Buying/Selling Used Cross Stitch Leaflets by
salllyjo
I just cleaned out my stash, and I have a few leaflets that are
duplicates or designs that I've decided I'll never do. Is there a place
online where I can resell these leaflets other than Ebay? I usually
resell books on half.com, but these leaflets don't have ISBN numbers, so
I don't think I can...

Christmas Ornament Patterns or Kits? by
salllyjo
Hi,
I wonder if someone can direct me to a good online source for cross
stitch patterns, especially Christmas Ornaments? I'm interested in
patterns or kits. I make ornaments every year for nieces and nephews
(this year is Disney), and I'm running out of cute patterns. They don't
have to be...

How do you keep cats from "helping"? by
Sandy
I haven't been able to do much cross-stitch for a couple of years because
one of my cats can't resist attacking either the floss or fabric or both!
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm probably not willing to confine him
while I work...

Ugly Babies by
Ruth409028
Likely you will be flamed by people who insist there is no such thing
as an ugly baby!!
I had a nephew who was as ugly as a mud fence when he was born. Aging didn't
improve him any. Frances
Take Jacques out before replying.
