Two weeks ago I bought Quaker Sampler by Workbasket, and even got the Sampler Threads it called for. Hiding cost of those fibers from Dude, as he...

Hi Guys, Well, I set off tomorrow for points north -- Washington, DC, Harrisburg & Hershey, PA. Hopefully, I will get to see some of The Smithsonian while we are in DC. We'll be spending 5 days in PA and I plan to cram in as many Amish quilt shops as I can :-)! Not taking any regular classes at...

Semi OT - dang knitting by Cheryl Isaak
I am busily knitting scarves as gifts for various buddies. Last night I fell asleep while working on one of them. This AM when I did quick count, I discovered that I had lost 5 stitches. Can't see where either. So unravel and restart! I'm counting every few rows now! Cheryl

Help with CATS class Monogram Lacis & Roses by lrdavis
I received a pre-work kit for the Stoney Creek class Monogram Lacis & Roses. The instructions say to do a border of pulled cross stitch and a border of pulled backstitch, but give no instructions for these stitches. I have found a pulled backstitch in one of my reference books. It is a...

english stitch by D.M.Evans
Thank you for everyone's help in learning about the alternative method of cross stitching. I am using it now and I love it, it really makes transistions from place to place the easiest.
