OT - the Grossest Story Ever by
Kalera Stratton
OK, yesterday I had some shunts removed. I couldn't talk about the
shunts yesterday, but today I am up and at 'em, sorta, albeit in a
slightly passing-out kind of way, and I am going to totally subject you
to the Story of the Shunts.
SEVERE GROSSOUT ALERT
My friend Cori took me in at 9:30...

AD: Christmas in July Lampwork Beads by
Karen_AZ
Happy Friday everyone!
A few weeks ago someone asked when Christmas beads started to be sold on the
auctions. Well, I got to thinking, and remembered some fun weeks at summer
camp when we did Christmas in July. Goofy stuff like singing carols in our
swimsuits, throwing ice cream balls at each...

Good Jewelry Night (not sure if this is OT) by
Marisa2
Tonight I did a jewelry party with/for my brother's best friend's
mother. It went really well. There were less then 10 people there, but
.... let's just say I made more then I ever have at a craft fair!
Everyone was really nice.
Best of all, several of my personal favorite pieces which to my...

OT-Credit Card processing info by
Armand Vine
I asked our web page guru about this as she has had a lot more experience
than I and this is what she says:
As far as credit card processing - it really depends on the amount of
business the people do. If business is less than $2,000 per month in
credit card transactions then ProPay is probably...

Need advice/info about kilns for metal clay by
Peggy
I'm hoping to purchase a kiln for metal clay in the next couple of months.
I use both PMC and Art Clay brands. Do any of you have any insights?
Obviously, I'm interested in info RE what kiln you think is the best--but
I'd also appreciate any other info that you want to share.
BTW: I had been...

beady confusion by
Barbara Forbes-Lyons
Laura,
I'm going through a similar thing right now. I've had a moderate amount of
success with name bracelets and other jewelry, but I can't seem to get the
ideas in my head onto the design board. Very frustrating. So, I made a
decision this past week - I'm going to go through my huge bead stash...

I didn't see a post from Candace so this may be a duplicate but the first of
the auctions are up and on eBay. Yeah! I had to bid on the White Russian
necklace but I'm hoping the price goes way up because it's beautiful!
Everything is beautiful!

Tee Shirts, Redux by
Karleen/Vibrant Jewels
I have this same problem with products. It seems that if I find a product I
REALLY like, it's the kiss of death! Let's see: Seldane, Hismanal, Brannola
bread (they still sell it, just has preservatives now), Breyer's Vanilla
Yogurt, my sports bras (K-Mart used to carry them pre-Martha, all the...

Hi all
Apologies if you have seen my post elsewhere tonight.

is. Some of you might know if it you are also rock hounds.
Anyway, the long and the short of it is...

Home decor -- with beads by
Dr. Sooz
Got any good ideas for beaded home decor to share? I saw this and it made me
think.....
Though I don't like the beads they chose for this, it's still trippy.

OT A soggy mess I could cry. by
Shirley Shone
Well things are going from bad to worse. In the early hours of this
morning the water tank in the loft overflowed.
I could cry at the mess we have. DH had to clear out the "Glory Hole" to
gain access to the loft to shut the water off. It came through his
bedroom ceiling, ran down the wall and...

Wire for beaded flowers by
Ken Knecht
I bought a book yesterday which mostly consists of directions for
creating flowers (and stems and leaves) made mostly with wire,
beads, and silk thread. However, the wire called for is #40 zinc-
plated. I've never seen this and I wonder why it's chosen. Why
not just use the #26 silver- or...
