Quiltmaker/Mickie! by
Sandy Foster
The earlier discussion about the curved paper piecing in the current
issue of Quiltmaker led to my picking up a copy at TSWLTH this morning.
But I was doubly pleased with my purchase when I saw that Mickie has
another quilt in there -- page 64, Everlasting Rose. As always, she did
a terrific job!...

Quilt camps by
Roz in Montreal
Just wondering if anyone out there is attending the quilt camp at Paul
Smith's College next week, or at Wiawaka the week of Aug. 18th. This
will be my first time attending these camps. Looking forward to a
wonderful, exhausting time. Take care, everyone - Roz in Montreal

Problems with Webshots?? by
Joanna
Anyone else having problems. I've updated my albums twice now yet it
isn't showing. First off there should be two separate albums. When
people go to my site they are all showing together. When I go through
the webshots software it shows fine on my end. Almost like their server
is way behind. I...

Buying Janome 6260 SM by
Bronwyn Ferrier Ms
Hi ladies
I am thinking of buying the above SM this week and wondered who has
one and is happy with it (not interested in those who
aren't!!g).
Looks a neat machine for someone who isn't in to machine embroidery
and memory cards. This is to replace my 30 y.o. bernina which has been
a faithful...

Micki's Quilt in Quiltmaker by
Debbi
Micki,
Picked up a copy of Quiltmaker yesterday. Saw your wonderful quilt. I see
you have a love for the Paris Flea Market fabric too. I used it for my queen
quilt that is currently at the quilter's. You were expecting fabric to be
delivered when you and I went shopping. Is this the fabric, or do...

Batiks by
MBQUILTS2
I am with you, Flossy, the batiks are fabulous. They are the most unforgiving
fabrics that I have ever worked with for quilting, which means your blocks
don't stretch..at all....Wow! My website is:

Visit it sometime and write me a note.

OT - speeding things up! by
Queen of Squishies
I'll be off-line for a day or so...... we are finally getting rid of dial-up
and going cable. We've been looking into different options for three months
now, and finally found a way. Instead of having local phone, long distance,
cell phone, internet, and no cable t.v. -- we will now have cell...

Popser picks up the pieces by
Joan
I love paper piecing. I really do. But sometimes the pieces make me go to
pieces. Still, when two grandsons poke at me, "Grandma, can you make a
quilt with a dragonfly....?"
Sometimes, when I see how many pieces there are (about a million per
block), I almost give up. But then.....
Popser tells...

Looking for consignment craft site (in Canada?) by
AB
Hi
I'm looking for a web site that will take on crafters and their items
(quilts and knitting for me)......on consigment. I used to submit my things
to one in Alberta that has since closed.
Anyone know of any? I prefer to do this with one in Canada, but would
consider others.
Thanks for your...

semi-OT..for Dee in Leroy by
CNYstitcher
Dee,
I have to thank you for your generous, loving gesture. I got the
envelope for Thomas and read him the note before I showed him what was
in it. He went bonkers!! That is a good thing.....he kept arranging
and re-arranging the fabric pieces for hours!! I told him that if he
wanted, I could...

God's House quilt by
Julia Altshuler
http://www.home.earthlink.net/~dogsnus/images/AGodsHouse.jpg
It is 39" x 39".
This is my personal favorite of the four. It may be my favorite of any
quilt I've made. It was the least favorite when I tallied up the votes
on this list. The same goes when I show it to friends in real life...
