question about photographing glass by ConTactMe
I took this image using a flash, and it has a glowing effect. I'm trying to find out if it's due to the shape or due to gases in the glass. It's a cool effect, and I'd like to be able to duplicate it, or create similar effects. Does anyone else have experience with this? Thanks

Soldering iron tip by Craig
What can I expect to happen after filing the tip to my soldering iron? I come from a Ma Bell background where we filed and retinned our irons all the time. I did this with my Weller and was told after the fact that I shouldn't have done that. Thanks in advance.
