OT blonde joke, do not read by
Polly Esther
Well, do not read if you get all huffy about blonde jokes. I think the DHs
will enjoy it.
A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had
great seats right behind the bench. After the game, he asked her how she
liked the experience.
"Oh, I really liked it," she said,...

Another SM question by
Bonnie
I have mentioned that I'm hoping to get a Redeye treadle.
Has anyone purchased a SM head and then purchased the base
from a different source through ebay? I can't seem to win
the auctions for the entire treadle and thought maybe I
could get them separately as they are available.
Would this be...

Confusion Quilt by
juliasb(nospam)
It was about a month or so ago someone here asked about the pattern for
the "confusion quilt' pattern by Debby Bowels that was shown on Simply
Quilts.
Well while straightening up some things today I found the pattern. I
have to do some straightening to get the rest of my holiday stuff going
:). ...

OT : I'm back! by
Janner
I've had ISP trouble, grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!
Besides that what a month we've had. DH's job is under threat of
redundancy, so our plans to move to France have speeded up a bit. More of
we'd better do that, we don't have a lot of choice kinda feeling now. So we
(with no children they were at...

OT - Apocalyptica CD by
Kathy Applebaum
Gosh, I sure wish my poor brain could remember who it was here that pointed
me towards Apocalyptica, but again, many thanks!
For those of you who don't know, Apocalyptica is a group of four excellent
Finnish cellists who play heavy metal on their cellos. Sounds weird, but
it's really fabulous....

Spent the day at LQS making quilts for fire victims in B.C. by
Lynne Van
This was great! One of our LQS' got samples from Northcott and maybe
another supplier. These samples, called headers, are about 12" by 18".
Last night some folks cut the headers into appropriate sized blocks and
strips, and some made dozens of 4 patches, and sorted them all into the
various...

Thanks was Basic Machine Quilting Question by
Marcia Smith
Hey everyone,
Thanks for all the super advice. Looks like there were two basic
answers. I can either snip the ends of very close or I can bury my thread
ends. I saved the instructions on burying the ends and may try it
eventually. Thanks!!

gift.)
DH has his garden railway up and running. We spent several days weeding,
picking up leaves and branches and also spanish moss. Some of...
