need help- 2 questions by
Roberta Zollner
For the bears, cut squares (or rectangles), add a triangle in each corner,
sash with something nice. You could make little 4-patch squares for the
sashing intersections. Or if you want something more Christmas-y, make the
corner triangles and sashing the same (dark) fabric, find a pretty...

Do you think that a printer
that prints out great pictures (one at a time only) should be shelved
after four or more years?
No. Our printer, an Epson Inkjet, is older than that. My neighbor

Another Antique Quilt Top by
Bronwyn Ferrier Ms
No, no, offence taken, Dr Quilter -- I have been enjoying the
discussion and everyone's viewpoint is valid along the way g. You
folk are all so knowledgeable. I just hope I can do justice to the
original quilter and complete nicely. Today I carefully washed it and
is now drying flat between 2...

Disappointed : ( by
Teresa in Colorado
The Eleanor Burns sounds quite reasonable - the LQS has to pay airfare,
hotel, meals, Eleanors fees, it's shop expenses such as electricity,
staffing, additional staffing, etc. It's expensive to host someone that
isn't local.
Is Joe Cunningham local or not? If she's local, you need to look at...

OT - What price memories? was Another Antique Quilt Top by
Sharon Harper
Absolutely! I agree and have a similar experience. In all my trips to the
US pre kids, I'd never bought back anything that really "reminded" me. This
trip, I decided that I was going to bring back a bear from the Build A Bear
Workshop at Disney. This is a great place, you choose the outside,...

well. When you get a minute, do pop in and tell us how you are getting

Have a really great trip, Sandy.
It's going to mean something really special, in view of the worries of
the past few weeks. Hope you get a few days without rain. That's often
all we hope for in British summer holidays!!
Safe journeys.

Timtex, where to get it? (for fabric bowls) by
Laurie G.
Also, satin stitching the edge so that the right side of the stitch is
actually off the edge will help avoid those nasty little threads. Another
tip, when sewing the cut lines, start in the center, work out towards the
edge, stop, turn and go back to the center for the second pass. This...
