She would use it for...

Duck Tape "dress" Form by
DogHerder
Hello Everyone,
I'm a bit sheepish to ask this question now that I've visited several
of your sites & photo places!
Ah well, here goes: How can I sew a cap or something over the arm &
neck holes and arse opening on an improvised body form so that I can
successfully stuff it with sawdust?
We...

Help with window treatments! by
-dlm.
Hello!
I am having difficulty with a home-decorating project that I started.
I purchased 100% cotton drapes from IKEA. Because they are too casual
for my needs, I thought that it would be fairly simple to turn these
inexpensive tab-top curtains into custom window treatments by adding a
lining and...

Huskylock 550D Overlocker Problem. by
Kilastria
I have inherited a Huskylock 550D Overlocker but I can't seem to get it to
work. I've threaded it and all the
threading is right (I think). The main problem is when I feed the material
through, the machine is pushing
the material forward (towards me)- instead of feeding it backwards away
from me....

Discount Sewing Parts by

Marty's father Don made his living as a door-to-door vacuum salesman

his
father's store to wait for his father and watch the repairmen fix
vacuum and sewing machines. Soon, he was actually learning to do the
repairs himself. After...

T-shirt neck styles by
Rob
I am looking for T-shirts and/or sweaters that have a "raised" neck.
That is the cloth comes about half-way up the neck but is not rolled--
over.
Not the classical T-shirt bottom-of-neck height or a rolled-over or
sewn turtleneck (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polo_neck);
something between the...

great error of her ways...

Needlepunch fleece by
Michele Sewell
I recently purchased a "Winnie the Pooh" Nursery panel to make bibs and
changing pad. The changing pad calls for 5/8 yard of needlepunch fleece.
What is it? And where can I buy it?
Thanks,

Custom Printed Fabric? by
Ed Price
Anyone know of a good and not terribly expensive place to have fabric custom
printed? I need 2 large prints (for the tops of two twin sized comforters).
Nothing fancy, just a custom design for our son's room.
Please, if possible, email me with suggestions..
