Marnic: Children mean the world to me by
Sara
If someone has this chart, could you tell me what overdyes are called
for? I'm going to make this for DS's teacher and would like to order
what I need in one shot.
TIA,

Wonderful textile art by
Sara
www.ietextiles.com
This is the new site of a college friend of mine. I just think her
stuff is fabulous and interesting. I'm only posting the link so you
can see it too; this is not meant to be an ad. I don't have the
faintest idea what her pieces cost. But I can drool.

Draft stopper filling? by
Sara
Hi,
I found instructions to make a draft stopper for under my door but I've
seen several suggestions for what to fill it with: kitty litter, sand, corn,
rice, etc. I was curious if any of you have made one of these and what you
had filled it with. I'd think sand would be pretty heavy and more...

Scissors pattern anyone? by
Sara
Does anyone have, or know where I could find, a small pattern to stitch a
pair of scissors. I'm making a sleeve for my scissors and just wanted to
stitch a small pair on the fabric. It could be cross stitch, embroidery,
black work, needlepoint, etc. Thanks in advance! ~Sara

Attn: Jennifer/Poetta by
Sara
Jennifer, I don't know if you remember sending me Silvery Moon last
year, but it finally came to the top of the pile and I finished it
this morning. Came out very nicely, even though I did use Lavender
Lugana instead of the Lakeside Linen. Love that ladybug button!
Thanks so much!

I'm assuming this means pictures... but where can I see it? My news server
doesn't have it, and I don't see it on Google groups. I'd really like to
see some of the pictures you all post :-)

Amusing anger management stitching by
Sara
If this isn't proper newsgroup manners, please excuse me. I stumbled upon
this site through a Google search and just thought it was quite funny....you
know we all have those kinds of days where we like to stitch one of these
pieces haha. Be aware, there are a couple pieces that use...

Blackwork: backstitch or Holbein? by
Sara
Hi!
Just a quick blackwork question, probably a matter of opinion. Most
blackwork instructions I see say to use backstitch, but I use Holbein. Any
reason why backstitch is recommended? It seems to me it uses more thread
and may not always be reversible. Holbein is reversible so I think...
