BH & G's Cross-Stitch Christmas magazine 2004 by
Mavis Zondervan
I bought the Better Homes & Gardens annual magazine tonight and am very
disappointed to find that most of the designs were published in previous
issues. I already have these charts in previous Cross-Stitch Christmas
magazines. Did any of you discover this?

Page with free patterns and a contest to win your image in a pattern by
Mayte
Hi!
I have found a website with some free patterns. It has also a monthly
contest in which, if you win, they will convert the image in a pattern
for free!
I think the site is new and only in Spanish, but I also think it is
worth having a look at it.
The address is:...

New cross stitch website in Spanish by
Mayte
Hi all,
this is just to say that I have found a nice website at
http://www.tupuntodecruz.com.
It is only in Spanish, but has many free patterns to download. They
also make patterns from pictures (they have an offer now, and send you
a pattern for free).
Hope everybody will like the site.

Desparate for brooch findings! by
MBayer6363
I had a kit for a brooch where I stitched a piece and then mounted it in a
brooch (which was included in the kit). I want to do some for Christmas and not
use a kit. I have been unable to find the individual brooch findings.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks!!

Historical use of bellpulls by
[email protected]
I know there are many in the ranks who have studied needlework history.
I'm wondering if the bellpulls we now make are based on the old-time
bellpulls the ladies of the house would ring to summon the housekeeper,
butler, whatever.
I am a collector of bells and got to thinking it might be kind of...

INOX.... Tunisian/Afghan... 2mm... by
McNerd
I've owned and LOVED several 2mm tunisian hooks from inox/prym... but i
can't seem to find a place to purchase them anymore. I'd gotten my
previous ones from ebay, through sellers in the US. Anymore, though,
it's all UK. Which means more $$$. Anyone have any tips on aquiring
some from a US...

cross-stitch pattern help by
[email protected]
HI,
I am looking for a cross stitch pattern, preferablly counted, not
stamped. About 5 or 6 years ago, my mom found a kit that was a sewing
room with a dressmaker's form. She lost it and would love to get
another pattern (at least) to make for my sister who is a dressmaker.
Any and all ideas...

basting in lines for cross stitch by
me
I am starting a very small piece of cross stitch but it is being
put(temporarily) on a large piece of fabric that has other stitching on it.
I have begun the process of basting every tenth line down and then across
but have started to think about how long a process this is going to be.

Heritage Shoppe Challenge/other stuff by
me
Diane, I dl'd the pdf and will be printing the outline drawing and the

Trying out the cross stitching by
me
Well, i am stitching away on a motif....and here I thought it would be
decent looking! Ha, silly me. it will end up being about 4.5 by 4.5-the
perfect size to stitch to a worn dish towel to make it last longer. Haven;t
stitched enough to make every mistake in the book, but it seems like there...
