Machine Knitting by
Joy Hardie
Hi,
I was beginning to feel like the machine knitting world had left
me behind. It seemed like EVERONE was getting electronic and getting
rid of their old punchcard machines. So many of the new beautiful
patterns were only able to be done on the electronic it was
disheartening.
I really only read...

So how many of you like to use a table as opposed to just a stand on your

Knit King Knitting Machine by
WinsorKnots
I just bought a used Knit King machine on eBay. The manual says it is a
Model 4000, but the picture and diagram of the slider is different from
the one I have. My slider has a lever on one end (I think there should
be another for the other end, but maybe not, no idea). There are no
brushes or...

Singer 322 Gauge Scale by
rxyz
Hello,
I have been given a Singer MemoMatic 322 knitting machine.
It did not the "Gauge Scale" to measure stitches and rows.
Does anyone have one of these?
Could someone photograph it beside a scale with inches or millimeters, and
post the picture?
Alternately, how could I row dial on the...

Punchard Question for a Moron by
Joy Hardie
No wonder people lose interest in machine knitting....it is so dag-gum
confusing. Everything seems to be in "code-language" and encrypted
that you pretty much have to know the "secret language" to keep up.
Well, I don't. So, for a completely mind boggled person who has a
literal ton of punch...

Knitting machine by
Nanci Donacki
After years of hand knitting, I've decided it's time to get a knitting
machine. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good one? What kind of
yarn it uses? What options does it have?
Thanks in advance.

Rug Yarn by
Cheryl
I was referred to this NG as a possible source of expertise. I hope someone
can help.
I have a rug making machine that is not unlike a knitting machine to
operate. Unfortunately the only rug-making yarn I can find is precut into
short lengths for hand knotting using a latch-hook.
Does anyone...

FreeCycle - Good Source for Machine Knit Stuff by
[email protected]
Hi everyone,
If you're not connected up with your local freecycle group, you SHOULD
be! I realized after going through and sorting emails over the past 6
or 8 months, that I'd had 5 freebies from folks in the Reno/Sparks
area that were machine knit related. One was for a small box of
machine...
