Can I fuse different pieces placed on stacked shelves in the kiln? Will the temp. be too different shelf to shelf to predict what the result will be?

Glastar II has 1/4 bit, but lacks table--why? by [email protected]
The Glastar II has a 1/4 inch bit, but without the table or a similar way to wet the diamond surface of the 1/4 inch bit, like the standard 3/4 inch bit, it seems like a strange add-on. If the secondary table is an option, why isn't the 1/4 inch bit. Not complaining that it is not an option, but...

?'s on BoroSilicate Fusing temps by RBClark
Newbee to group here. Have been fusing with COE 90 and 96 for about 2 years, and some beading. No experience with BoroSilicate, unitl I couldn't resist a EBAY item with scrap dichroic Boro and a lot of circular patterned Boro. Web info I've located says that Boro should fuse at 1500F. However,...

blindly scoring forwards by badcatbailey
Well maby not so blindly, but it feels like it. I am new to stained glass. I have been reading, taking classes, and practicing. I am doing okay with 'cutting' my glass, but when it comes to 'pattern making' there are so many different opinions on the best way to proceed. To some, the best way is...

Which mastic is best? by [email protected]
Hey, I need help. I want to glue a mirror to the inside of my TV entertainment center. I ordered the glass (27x38) but the glue (putty colored) that Biswanger sold me didn't work and I held it in place for over an hour. It very slowly slid down the wall of the cabinet but didn't break, thanks to...
