Slipping walking foot by
MaleQuilter
I've had the slipping walking foot problem and it sure was
frustrating.
I've solved the problem by moving the needle position as far right as
it would go. This lets both feed dogs have the same amount of fabric
to grab.
On one project, changing the needle position did not completely solve
the...

OT How do you make a cat eat? by
AliceW
My sweet little Scraps (12 year old tabby) has been losing weight steadily
over the last few weeks. We took her to the vets this week and they did all
kinds of blood work, x-rays and urinalysis. She doesn't have diabeties,
thyroid, kidney or liver diseases. Her spleen is a bit enlarged but...

Ironing Board Help by
Sherry Starr[_2_]
I need a sturdy ironing board. I do not want the big board. I have tried
those, and don't like it. I need something that will be sturdy on thick
carpet. DH & I had all our flooring replaced last year. I didn't want
carpet in any room, and he wanted it in all the bedrooms and the den. We...

Has any one used this thread for piecing? It is much cheaper then others and
was wondering how much lint went with it.
Thanks,

finally did some piecing! by
Marigold
Hello all. Life really does get busy sometimes, but I actually stole a few
minutes over the long weekend to piece some scrappy siggy blocks together.
It felt so good. Even though my whole sewing/quilting space/stuff is a
nightmare of a disaster area, I forced myself to overlook the mess and...

Pirate Fabric by
Tia Mary
Hi Guys,
I got the Pirate fabric from H of P over the weekend and it is
great! The pirates look a lot like the one from the movie and the one
that I thought looked the Captain Jack Sparrow is just perfect! I got
the SMDGD's measurements from DD and will probably start the sun dress...

quilting math help by
Marcella Peek
My friend mis-cut her fabric for a quilt. She asked me on the phone how
to use what she has to make it work - but, naturally smaller.
The quilt called for strips to be cut 3" wide and 2" wide.
She cut all her strips 2" wide.
She's thinking if she made the blocks smaller and used the 2" strips...
