Most common ring sizes? by
Paul Ciszek
I have noticed that when someone is selling rings made of stone, glass,
or plastic (i.e., harder to resize than metal) they seldom have any
large enough for my girlfriend or I. This could be because they are
made in another country, or possibly because the target demographic is
anorexic young...

Source for Pierced to Clip Earring Converters? by
Norm Dresner
My wife has refused to get her ears pierced for several decades and I want
to buy some earrings to which I'll add personal features. But the base
stuff is only available with posts. I know there are suppliers of the
converters but I'm not able to find any.
URLs appreciated.
TIA

Hello,
I've been making colored freshwater jewelry, but I also wonder if they
start bleeding one day. Any ideas? Or what can I do to prevent it?
Thanks.

Working with red tree coral by
Paul WIlson
Hey,
Does anyone have experience attaching silver things to red tree coral.
I have some nice coral I bought at a show and I'd like to attach a casting
to it.
I imagine glue won't stick and heat will destroy it, so mechanical
attachmnets are the norm.

Ephemeral materials challenge by
Carl
It's a long story, but I want to create a choker like this:
http://c-76-19-175-241.hsd1.ma.comcast.net/CandyCorn.jpg
using real candy corn.
My original thought was to make wire studs or loops that would be heated
up and melt their way into the bases of the candies. That's not working
well,...
