Just wanted to stop in and say Hi! I'm new to the newsgroups, after
prompting from my hubby. :-) I'm a SAHM and really enjoy stamping. No, let
me rephrase that. I'm addicted to it!

Rubber Stamp made from RTV? by
Jeanne Burton
If you go to DIYnet.com, they just did a segment on making rubber
stamps. They were pretty simplistic, but worth checking out.

Barbara Hass
Your assistance is needed. We need to purchase black paper or vinyl with a
self-adhesive backing. The problem is that we cannot locate a source.
Anyone know of one? Thanks.

Stamping on eyeglasses cords by
[email protected]
Hello. I'd like to rubber stamp a decoration on some eyeglasses
retainers--the knit, tubular kind, not the flat shoelace kind. Is
there any certain technique I should use? Any special ink? I want to
be sure the design doesn't crack or smear.
Any information you can provide about this project...

Paper Temperature When Embossing by
[email protected]
Hey Guys!
Does anyone know what temperature the paper/card gets when you are
melting embossing powder with a heat gun? I have some printable CDs I
want to try embossing (to give a raised glossy effect on some of the
text), but I'm worried I'll end up melting the CD as well as the
embossing powder....

Thought i would give the nod I knew nothing about it until last night. I
bought 6 stamps ended up only paying 25$. Not sure if you have a Hobby
Lobby in your area, but they do indeed have the largest selection I have
ever seen.

Emboss and then photocopy? by
MJ
Hi,
We're making some wedding programs.
I want to get the paper folded and embossed before feeding it into the
photocopier... bad idea? We'd unfold it before putting it in the
printer...
Reasoning is that the embossing will take the longest and we haven't
figured out what is going inside the...

liquid stuff question by
HouseODogs
I remember reading about a product that you could pour onto a sticker or die
cut and it would only go to the edge and stop. For the life of me, I cannot
remember where I read this and the name of the product. It would make a
glaze like coating on top of whatever you poured it on.
Does anyone...
