Help with glue sticks for applique by The Brown Family
I've just started using a glue stick for doing appliqué and I really like it, except the glue stick gets really gummy pretty quickly. I've put them in the freezer and it helps a bit for a while. I have the Ross glue sticks, are there better ones, what do you use? Lorraine

OT - ARGH!!! New Car - Ford Freestar :-( by TwinMom
I just have to vent here. I'm sooooo disappointed!!! After waiting 8 years for a new car, we finally decided on the Ford Freestar - it replaces the Windstar. We had a '96 Windstar that we bought before the boys were born. (I had to get rid of my Honda CRX-Si 'cause, carrying twins, I just could...

Finished early! by Nbhilyard
A woman's group I'm in has an ornament exchange at its holiday party. Ornaments do not have to be limited to Christmas trees, I realized, and I make wallhangings. This will be the third year (how quickly a tradition is established) -- and I finished the 2003 edition last night. I used a...

A touching book on quilting by Janice Davis
Nope this is not a book on quilting designs or techniques. Actually, the book is titled "What I Learned From God While Quilting." It is one of those books you just stumble on; you're not actually looking for it. I have it and it is very short, sweet, and endearing. If any of you would like it to...

OT blonde joke, do not read by Polly Esther
Well, do not read if you get all huffy about blonde jokes. I think the DHs will enjoy it. A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind the bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience. "Oh, I really liked it," she said,...
