OT but still sewing by
NightMist
Having finished a top I already had half done, I am back to not quilting.
I'm kinda creaky and would probably cut my fingers off if I tried using a
rotary cutter. I am hoping this will pass soon, though the doctors have
not had much to say about it.
I've been alternating between assorted thread...

OUT of ICU by
Butterflywings
Out of the woods but still in the forest.
They DID save DD's foot and had to do both a muscle and skin graft. So far
all look like they're healing well. Still in a lot of pain: 3 very sore
spots now instead of just her foot. But they saved it!!!!!!!!!
Spending a lot of time with her....just...

Chantelle by
Estelle Gallagher
I have added a WH I started with Ricky Timms about 4 yearsago. Thought I
would use it to practice various FM stitches. Also added a couple of Post
Cards.
Its just typical. Just when I am in full swing and feeling productive I have
to pack all things away. DH and I celebrate our Ruby wedding on...

His pelvis is crushed, along with various facial injuries. Please pray for
his recovery, as this accident will permanently change his entire family.
His wife is not working, and they just bought their home.

QI has left the quilting room by
queenb
Hello all,
Like Cindy, we too experienced a QI loss. Our beloved kitty girl Scooter
went to be with her big brother yesterday.
She was 18 yrs old, and we almost lost her a year and a half ago but our
vet was able to give us more time. Unfortunately, her body was just not
strong enough to hold...

OT-back after long absence, long by
Toni Schneidt
Hi!! Long time, huh?
It's Toni, back after long time away. Things have not been good around here,
but they are getting better.
We had some financial problems, and it caused us to fall into foreclosure.
We worked with the mortgage company, but they wouldn't work with us. They
had scheduled a...

Favorite online fabric store? by
desert quilter
I am in search of that "perfect" piece of fabric (at a reasonable price
of course ;-) and I hope I'll know it when I see it. I've decided the
best way to find it is to look at everybody else's favorite online
fabric store. I've bought other things online, but never fabric, so
this is first for...

How nice to have you back, Deb. Glad to hear everything is going well with
your health issues. Take it easy for a while, though. Gusto is good, but
do it in shot-glass size!

Keepsake Quilting's solid black cotton by
Johanna Gibson
I notice that the lovely solid black cotton at Keepsake Quilting is
on sale, but that store adds on $15 *after* shipping if you are not
lucky enough to live in the US.
So I was wondering, has anyone else out there found a gorgeous solid
black? What is the Kona solid black like? I'm going to put...

Met Betty and Loren at In the Beginning by

Last Sunday at noon we met at ITB in Seattle... Betty, who went with her
daughter and grandaughter (cute little girl!) was buying a wonderful
assortment of blue fabric for a rowing quilt she is making for her
husband (that will have apliqueed oars, if I understood well). I took my
crazy baby...
