That is indeed Love Apples. And you'll have to be a member to see her. They
are closing that night and the night the Seven Sisters come to members only.
No guests.

Chris, there are no no-nos! You do what you need to get your quilt

Need a FQ fix? by
AliceW
If anyone is planning on going to the Haddonfield craft fair today, leave
early, wear good walking shoes and go to the Little Shop to get 25 FQ for
$25! The FQ are normally $2.25 and you can also get 1/2 yard cuts which
would count as 2 FQ. NAYY
I went yesterday and did some damage there. ...

Bicycle clips by

Like Roberta, I long ago gave up on the bicycle clips. A pain to put
on, they never STAYED on right, they DO clank on the table, and why
bother, when just rolling the quilt TIGHT works?

Sairey (who hasn't quilted anything in so long ... but is obviously

"Modern" designs by
Dr. Quilter
I like modern patterns to. And you know what? You can get very graphic
effects using solely squares, or rectangles, or triangles, and playing a
lot with colour. that is what I am aiming for in a couple of my
quilts... so you don't need many sewing skills, just an artistic
inclination....

Book review needed - Patchwork Quilts Made Easy by
Martha in IN
Mardi,
I have this book and would say that it is very appropriate for an
intermediate quilter. While not a "learn to quilt" book, it has some fairly
easy blocks, i. e., 9 patch, log cabin, and such. It also has appliqué and
blocks appropriate for using templates, (fan quilts). I haven't used it,...

happy ending by
Nana2B
I, too planned to use my Rowenta until the end of time. Sugar, my QI, had
another idea. My last iron lasted 25 years and only had to be replaced
because it leaked all the time. I think I had gotten it as an engagement
present.
