Paint COE by kevmo
Does anybody know how important it is that high firing paints be compatable with particular glass? It seems to me that incompatable COEs could cause the paint to crack and flake. TIA Kevmo ARS VITREA

I saw that float frits are made with lead and cadnium. Does this burn off and make it safe? If they are encased in clear,...

Soldering iron tip by Craig
What can I expect to happen after filing the tip to my soldering iron? I come from a Ma Bell background where we filed and retinned our irons all the time. I did this with my Weller and was told after the fact that I shouldn't have done that. Thanks in advance.
