Free SRE patterns online??? by
Tia Mary-remove nekoluvr to reply
Hi Guys,
OK -- I got the niece hooked on SRE and she has completed her first piece
and is chomping at the bit to do more. Does anyone know of any sites that
offer free SRE designs that she can print off? I told her that she can simply
trace the line drawings from any of the SRE books I sent her...

Pressing linen by
Dianne Lewandowski
The only reason I'm being cautious here is that dirt on cloth or
threads, when ironed, will often be "set". So, if you're not going to
wash, and you plan on misting or using a damp press cloth of sorts, make
sure your piece is free of any grime.

Any knitters? by
BDS2pds
I now need an aran knit cardigan pattern for a man . I finally was able to find
the oiled wool today and now can start this xmas present if someone can find me
a pattern. Does no one knit any more? No knitting shops or hardly any yarn
out there today which really shocked me.

Cash quick links and the law by
Irene
There is a posting, not the first, about how you can get total
strangers to send you cash. To get the $5 you post $250 into your
paypal account...The last posting just asked for the $$$ and claimed
it was a "service".
So don't forget the other side of "service": you become self-employed
and the...

Also a couple of chunks of white Aida (16 count, picture size) (and 14
count,yardage).
I am asking $30 for the lot, including shipping to anywhere in the US
(but...

A Needlework Package Arrives with a side story! by
Dianne Lewandowski
A cyberfriend in Australia sent me an interesting needlework kit -
inspired from Kogin embroidery. I treasure it: the interesting fabric
and threads. I already started working on it. Now, for the good part:
When I saw the envelope in the mail, it had a large band of green
adhesive tape across...

classes and seminars by
Kaye
Is there a site that lists classes, shows and or seminars for cross stitch.
I am particularly interested in samplers. I know there is one that is in
Williamsburg, but I don't know who sponsors it or when it is. There is also
one in the Boston area, but again I don't know when .Thanks!

Pressing linen stitched with overdyed floss by
Freya
I wonder if someone could help me with my current stitching dilemma,
which is how to press a little sampler I have just finished on linen
using Gentle Art and WDW flosses?
It's not badly creased, but I fear that my normal method (involving a
steam iron and a damp cloth applied to the back of the...
