Door refinishing question? by Moonraker
Any of you folks out there offering refinishing services on the leaded glass doors? If so, what are you charging, and what services are you offering? Doing it on site or installing a Temp door? Full stripping, sanding , filling, restaining, and how many coats of varnish?

Mike Firth's site by Mike Beede
I noticed today that it seems to be gone. I'm hoping that it's merely moved and no one remembered to tell me. Anyone have a new URL? The one I was using was http://users.ticnet.com/mikefirth/ and it comes back with a message that says, among other things, If your website was at...

What is electroglazing? that FLW used for his SG by joe doe
Reading book on FLW SG and see a blurb about how he used a (then new method) of electroglazing process to make his panels faster, tighter, and more weatherproof. The scant info implies that there is COPPER STRIPS (not came) set between the glass and then the whole loose fit assembly is put into an...

Mosaic on a Stucco Wall? by stricks760
I've got an existing stucco wall that runs along my pond, about 3 feet high. Is there a way to attach glass in a mosaic pattern to put, say, a few Koi or something along the wall? I could do things like stepping stones and hang them on the wall, but would rather do something more...

looking for bevels in the UK..? by Adrian brentnall
HI All I'm looking for a specific bevel - in the UK. It's a diamond shape 126mm x 76mm - BUT it has to have a brilliant cut star on it. Anybody know who stocks these - or maybe has one 'lying about' that they wouldn't mind selling on. Thanks

Source of small glass furnace in UK? by Mike Firth
Well, I tried to reply off line, but IE makes it so difficult to get rid of your NO SPAM, I gave up. You will have difficulty finding a way to work that small a quantity, especially if you literally want to melt from a batch recipe rather than cullet. A kilogram (2.2 pounds) is under half a liter...
