MESSAGE TO DR. SOOZ OR WHOEVER YOU ARE??????????? by
Margarita Rosario
MY ANSWER TO THE ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
First of all you don't need to speak to me in that tone or to anyone for
that matter. I defend Starlia even though I don't know her because is stupid
to argue about her experience. Second I stayed in the topic which is I DON'T
CARE ABOUT HER EXPERIENCE OR WHETHER...

AD and question: Lampwork on ebay and justbeads by
Tink
Lori, you aren't limited to just accepting PayPal on your eBay auctions to
get the 1.5%. It says:
....advertise PayPal as the only online payment service on your eBay
listings. You can still accept checks and money orders, and you can even
mention other online payment services in your...

Tell me what you think - some of the pieces don't thrill me much but it's nice
to get feedback about what others like. And advice on how they are displayed
on this website is also greatly appreciated.

Butler Dental Floss Threaders by
EL
No, this isn't off topic.
My favorite new beading tool is a Butler Dental Floss Threader -- not the
white kind that looks like a teenage mutant toothpick, but the blue kind
with a big loop and about a 2 inch stiff end.
My bead crochet teacher gave us all one and said they were useful in...

Old Sewing Machine Advice by
Diana Curtis
Take the time to give your new toy a drink of oil after cleaning it
carefully. The links that Deborah gave you might show just where to put a
drop or two of sewing machine oil to keep the machine purring. If not, then
put a drop wherever two metal parts move against one another.
What do you hope...

can we talk about quality findings and components? (long) by
Pam
Thought maybe we could start this discussion anew... I'm sure you "oldies"
have gone over this stuff a bunch of times for us "newbies", but I'm loving
the little nuggets I'm picking up in the other thread - just not loving the
sifting through it to find them...
so, please, tell us or comment...

Posting Question by
angela
I made some new bracelets over the last few days and I really like them. Two
of them use the Mavis Smith beads I bought at the Bead Show on Sunday. I
want to post the link to my website here so you can take a look (if you want
to). Here's my question: Do I need to put "AD" in the subject line?...

Kiln question by
Kalera Stratton
Arrrgh, I've hardly been able to get on the newsgroup lately, I'm having
withdrawals! (I spend all my free time waiting for the baby to sleep so
I can make beads... I've finally gotten comfortable enough with my torch
to be productive! Yay!)
Anyway, I know this is a subject that gets hashed and...

OT - Where to live next??? by
KDK
Sigh - I just found out that I can't move back into my house in Asheville -
my landlady's decided the cats can't live there anymore - and no cats, no
me. I found out when I called to see if I needed to come to Asheville to
move things out of the basement before the next round of rain.
So - I like...

Craft Rooms by

Jalynne mentioned rearranging her craft room.
I've been thinking a lot about the same thing. Last Spring I put all my
beads out on the porch. I call it the "sunroom" because it is all windows
on 3 sides, and has nice light. Except in winter. And it's hard to keep
the light from being very...

Anklet length question by
Helen C
What size anklet would you all wear? I've been getting orders for anklets
with the spiral stitch and I've found the easiest way is to have someone
measure their ankle and go from there. Does this sound right? So, this
means every one I've made is custom but it would be nice to make some up...
