Can we generalize? by m4816k

polishing revisited by [email protected]
I posted a question about swirl marks on Ti 6AL 4v pendants. Abrasha was kind enough to point me to platinium green rouge. I went online to buy some and pick up some other polishing supplies and read in many of the descriptions about 'coloring' compounds or compounds that were described as 'light...

Indian ring sizer mystery. by [email protected]
Hi, I recently bought a set of ring sizers made in India. Most of the sizers I've seen will say 7 for 7 and 7- for 7 1/2, but this set mysteriously has three rings per size, marked 7, 7-, and 7= (what the heck is that, and does that make 7- something besides 7 1/2?). If anyone can solve this riddle...

Question about ring sizes by Brandi
Hello everyone, My brother is buying an engagement ring for his girlfriend in the US. She lives in Brazil and her ring size is "18" but that is a brazilian ring size. Would anyone here know what an 18 would be in the Unites States? A size 7 or 8 possibly? Thanks in advance! Brandi
