going for US 690!
As we all know, imperial topaz fetch far higher than that,

Can we generalize? by

Can we say that:
1. Complex, brilliant cuts and their variations serve to make the best use
of good optical properties of gems such as diamond, zircon, garnet etc.(with
the exception of pastel toned, since I heard brilliance can wash out the
more subtle colors), and that their use with "low RI"...

polishing revisited by

I posted a question about swirl marks on Ti 6AL 4v pendants. Abrasha
was kind enough to point me to platinium green rouge. I went online to
buy some and pick up some other polishing supplies and read in many of
the descriptions about 'coloring' compounds or compounds that were
described as 'light...

There are eight lessons at the begginer level.

castings.
The other is a close up of the stronium titanate ring.

Indian ring sizer mystery. by
[email protected]
Hi, I recently bought a set of ring sizers made in India. Most of the
sizers I've seen will say 7 for 7 and 7- for 7 1/2, but this set
mysteriously has three rings per size, marked 7, 7-, and 7= (what the
heck is that, and does that make 7- something besides 7 1/2?). If
anyone can solve this riddle...

ring alteration - K -> G ? by
Terry Paterson
Hi There,
hoping this is a sensible place to ask...
my partner is rather petit at 4ft 11in - and has similarly small
fingers (measured as size G by a high street jeweler this weekend)..
however all of the rings that she has seen and likes only go as small
as a size K,

Question about ring sizes by
Brandi
Hello everyone,
My brother is buying an engagement ring for his girlfriend in the US. She
lives in Brazil and her ring size is "18" but that is a brazilian ring size.
Would anyone here know what an 18 would be in the Unites States? A size 7
or 8 possibly?
Thanks in advance!
