Florida Jewelry finding co. by
Monika
For years I used to order my costume jewelry finding from a Florida based co.
I have lost the catalog and their website and do not remember the name. All
I know it was something like Enterprise Art? Enterprise leisure? I believe
they are based in Baton Rouge. A web search did not show any...

hollywood celebs and debeers and stores has marketed diamonds way back
when...and so diamonds command a high price, and everybody knows about it
and wants it blah blah blah.
someone, or some organization needs to market rubies, sapphires, emeralds,
tanzanites so the general public is aware about it

What to do with 20mm Donuts by
Joe
I have many 20mm donuts (glass and gemstones) . I don't know what to
do with them.
I have used larger donuts (30-40mm) as pendants on cords but I don't
like the looks of the smaller ones.
Does anyone have any suggestions for using these.
TIA

black diamonds by
Bob
Hello,
I'm new to this site and I'm hoping that someone can help me find a
source of calibrated, princess cut, black diamonds suitable for
setting in an anniversary band. So far, all that I have been able to
find are rounds, and I need princess cut stones.
Thanks,
Bob

Cutting a jade ring by
Tasha
Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me - I've recently bought a ring from a
Chinese source which was claimed to be made of black 'agate jade'. I'd
like to get a hole cut in it, in order to customise it as a special
gift for a friend. I gather that we're talking about a pretty hard
substance here, but...

the worst places to sell bead jewellery by
[email protected]
I live in a city of just over 1 million people.
Here is my opinions on options for selling bead jewellery:
Weekend markets
No good, people looking for bargains, many stalls selling cheap
imports
Monthly markets (run by Lions/Rotary Clubs or similar groups)
Some good, some dud, you have to try it...

more white gold by
robert merritt
I am to set a stone in a white gold ring using a bezel setting. I am a
little cautious about rolling 14 k white gold into bezel wire. Is it usable?
Are there any tricks to know about it compared to a silver or yellow gold
bezel?

New Newsgroup by
Peter W.. Rowe,
OK. Guys. enough is enough.
The most recent two posts to this thread (you two know who you are) are now no
longer just off topic, they're getting personal, with no benefit to the group.
So the thread now dies. You guys want to toss idiotic trash at each other in
email, go ahead. Not my...

Engraving in Gold/Silver... by
Samiel
It seems like engagement rings are all silver or platinum these
days... but I'm a bit partial to gold. Maybe I should change my
thinking?
Anyhow, I was thinking about my plans for purchasing an engagement
ring for my girlfriend. I would kind of like her name and a few
horses lightly engraved...

Ring Finished by
Jack Schmidling
Today I soldered on the bezel and contoured the top of the ring to fit the
bezen and mounted the stone. The stone is an Amazonite (I think) which we
found in the garden while tilling. We found one last year and two this
Spring. I am itching to go till up the garden.
The photo of the competed...

Pewter by
Jack Schmidling
I am looking at a really nifty chalice that I want to stud with my cut gems.
Unfortunately, the only one I really like is made of pewter. I have been
gold plating silver things with good results but I can find no info on
plating pewter.
Is there any reason why it can not be gold plated with the...

Selling Diamonds/Jewellery by
JimC
My Wife and I recently appraised some jewellery left to her from her
mother. It was appraised at $23-24,000 CDN as a set. (I haven't looked
at the actual certificates to see what items are worth what, as the
appraisal was finished today, and I haven't picked the stuff up yet) I
have two...
