Bead + Button Question by
ellen
I was wondering if anyone here might answer a question I'm curious about -
do you know what Bead + Button pays authors for articles that are accepted
for publication? I was looking at the guidelines on their site and didn't
see that info. I assume it varies by length, where in the issue the...

OT Beaders' Prefs file update on Yahoo by
Dr. Sooz
I'm in the process of transcribing (and editing) the newbie (and others')
preferences in this file so you can all be up-to-date with BFNR and swap info
for other beaders here on RCB.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/beadershaven/files/
I did an update today, but it's taking a while to transcribe 'em...

Need business cards by
Harry
I do not have business cards, but it would be perfectly fine not to mention that they are my shells.
Once you have them in your hands... they become yours. :))

What is watchmaker's cement? Where can I get it in the UK? by
Typo
My wife is looking for a cement to reattach lose stones to metal
settings on costume jewellery. She's read of "watchmaker's cement"
but the local jeweller and model shop haven't heard of it. Could
someone please tell me what sort of substance this is and where I
might find it in the UK.
Thanks.

Seeking Lime Green Focal bead... by
LC aka Fiddy
Ok, I'm "jonez-ing" for a beautiful, lime green, maybe some blue, no pink,
lampworked focal bead. I don't want a string of 10, I want one. Lentil shaped
would be great, boro glass would be great, ...
Where would I look for *one*?

OT -- Hello for now by
BeckiBead
I managed to hook up one of the computers at the house that Carol is selling
(in Salt Lake City, Utah. If anyone wants to live on the side of a mountain,
email me and we can talk). So, I have access to RCB again. However, I have no
time so I doubt if I read a lot of threads, LOL.
Love you...

Question for the rockhounds by
Lee S. Billings
Someone has flagged one of my items on Ruby Lane, complaining that "yellow
turquoise" is really a form of jasper and I'm "being misleading to the
customers." This is apparently based on something on the Fire Mountain website.
I don't know whether this is correct or not, and I'm not sure where to...
