blkndvudu[_2_]
Hi,
I've never used Anchor though I've received some through a floss swap
I belong to. I think I'll give it a try. As for 123 Stitch they are
awesome! Joanne will answer every question you can think of asking
her- and I've asked some dumbass questions. She will also search for
charts, patterns etc...

Crewel work. by
Alex Corvinus
I was waiting in the outpatient waiting room for Cancer Screening at
M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Lord Love us, a woman was
working a hoop in the next chair.
I asked if she was doing CX, and she responded, "No, that means I have
to count, and I'll be damned if I'm going back to...

Totally OT. Computer info needed by
Olwyn.Mary
I need info from our resident computer experts. I bought this laptop
last fall for a beautiful price, but it did not come with MS Office. I
didn't think I needed to buy it, as the only part of that suite I ever
used was to write letters, and I can do that anyway. HOWEVER, I notice
that a...

A WIP is complete! by
Fran
I finally finished the green quilt I started several years ago! It's
a twisted log-cabin pattern that looks like pinwheels. I
hand-stitched a celtic knot pattern as my quilting pattern, and it
looks great, IMNSHO :)
Tried to upload the photos to RCTNP, and all that shows are blanks?!?
Makes...

Im BAAAACK & GeoBear Update by
Tia Mary
Hi All,
Back home from my stay at the cabin in Lizard Land. Did some sewing
and some stitching and a wee bit of knitting. Made another silk kimono
jacket for my DNiece in TX and have been working on a NP project to help
Janet (my stitchin' buddy). Nothing earth shattering happened while I...

Now what? by

Not to be objectionable, but I need a bit of help here.
I have understood that one must have a library. Sensible.
Building that, and received my virgin copy of the Readers' Digest
Encyclopedia of stitches today. $$$$.
Have Maria Undi's book. Others on Hungarian florals. But I need to get

last night's stitching by
Susan Hartman[_2_]
What did you work on last night?
I put about two hours into the latest freebie from blue ribbon designs.
I'm doing it over one on 32 count linen as a Christmas ornie, and it's
working up beautifully. I love the "neatness" of it...crisp designs and
exactitude.

Who we are . . . by

"I have no interest in the Seminar as I think it is a grossly
expensive, inflated, to-do for the elite and
totally ignores the average stitcher."
That's calling EGA "elitist". Your word. Not mine.

Well, school starts on Thursday for DD and a week from today (Sunday) DS

I can not believe by

That in my entire stash of floss, fiber and such, I have no black
metallic - be it floss, fine braid or blending filament. I do have some RG
ribbon, but that's too wide for what I want to do.
Just thought I'd give you all a laugh - hundreds of skeins of stuff, an no
black or grays in a metallic...

Who are we? by
Joan E.
Since we seem to have one or two new members and a couple of recent
returners, I thought it might be time for another round of "Who are
we?", so I'll start.
I'm Joan. I live on the eastern edge of North Dakota. I work in a
university library and have been here for over 30 years now...
