Soldering Iron Woes by
Moonraker
For years now, I've only used the Weller 100w Pro iron with the Temp
controlled tips. Yesterday, while working, one of the Wellers let out a
huge spark and fireball while sitting in the iron holder. After letting it
cool off, I found some small pin-holes in the big part of the barrel...

Pattern wanted - bee suncatcher by
Gail Sperling
Does anyone have a pattern for a bee suncatcher they would be willing to
send me? My search of the various free pattern sites on the web was
fruitless.
Thanks,

Jon Pike
I recently came into posession of several very large sheets of 1/2" thick
glass. How do I safely cut this? I know I can't score and break it like
thinner stuff.

Komfort Cutter by

Anyone know how to contact these folks? I may have misspelled the name?
They made a nice little oval wooden handle that came without a head. They
moved awhile ago, and I need their phone number.

how may firings do you get out of one of your hydroperm-fiberglass molds.

Ways to put a colored, rounded edge on glass? by
David Blood-Deschamps
Hi,
I'm working on flat stained glass ornaments that have exposed glass
edges. One way to finish these edges is to put on copper foil and
solder, but I'm looking for other ways to get a nice-looking finished
edge. Is there any kind of good, thick paint or enamel that will cover
the edge and dry to...

lampworked drawer pulls and knobs by
Louis Cage
Does anyone have a source for the internally threaded inserts that go into drawer pulls and knobs?
I could get the refill kit, but $36.00 for 12 seems a bit pricey.
Thanks in advance.
