Favorite (or favourite as spelled in Oz) Music by
Sandy Bell
Friends & I exchange personal cd's each Christmas with between 17 - 20
songs we love. You would think this was a tough thing to do after
afew years but once you get started the songs just keep popping into
your head. So I thought I'd ask," What 5 songs would you put on a cd
for a friend?" To be...

I think we have lost another LNS by
deniseb
I just received an email from Country Craft Cupboard in Berlin, Ohio.
It stated that the Stitching House was changing it's name to CCC, too!
The manager of 8 years has quit and moved to a none related retail
store and there will be a new manager at CCC, too! The owner of the
Country Craft Cupboard...

Evangeline, MLI style by
Mirjam Bruck-Cohen
This simply is not true! In the tropics everything is loaded with
bright and deep colors.
The nature in Tropical countries is indeed colorful But houses are mostly painted in lighter colors , white
light beize , lightest softest blue, since in hot climates one
tends to close or sahde the...

Stitchers in Georgia? by
Angbug
Just wondering if there are any fellow stitchers in Georgia. I thought it
would really be cool if some of us could get together and stitch and talk
and get to know each other and share stitching ideas. maybe in the next few
months one Saturday or something. Anyone got any ideas on this?

Silver Lining question? by
Anne Tuchscherer
I saw the earlier thread about the 25th Anniversary rose and it is
gorgegous. I have purchase a few of the other rose chart after seeing
the models stitched because I couldn't help myself. I have not had a
chance to stitch them yet or really study the charts so my question is
for either Marc or...

So, what's everyone working on? by
NDJoan
I'm still on my nativity set. I just finished the last shepherd and
have started on one of the wisemen. Three wisemen and 2 camels to
go!
I'd really like to get the pieces I have stuffed and finished so I can
display them this Christmas.

Christmas Ornament Patterns or Kits? by
salllyjo
Hi,
I wonder if someone can direct me to a good online source for cross
stitch patterns, especially Christmas Ornaments? I'm interested in
patterns or kits. I make ornaments every year for nieces and nephews
(this year is Disney), and I'm running out of cute patterns. They don't
have to be...

Converting Paternayan old colors old to new colors by
Marco Andres
I've attached to this message a txt file containing the color conversions from the old Paternayan colors to the new ones. Now that the new colors are being produced again by Saco Dyehouse and Waverly also has equivalents to the colors, it seemed like a good time to include this conversion chart...

Got it !!!!! by
Judy Rigby
OK. This is definitively it. "Flower Power" is being worked on the 32ct
Belfast linen. Idea of floor frame abandoned in favour of doing it
piece by piece on the hoop. Fabric's the right size, a line of
tacking's been run east-west & north-south. Thereby locating centre. AND
close enough to the...

OT - Ice, Ice Everywhere by
Ellice
Well, kind of homebound today - we thought, okay - the street finally got
plowed, we're good to go wit 2 4WD vehicles. Then, go looking for the
ice-melt stuff in the freezing garage - and it seems we forgot to replace
the last batch, OOOPS. This because looking out the sunroom - the driveway
looks...
