What's your favorite technique? by
Wave Jumper
We're on a roll, thanks to Alison, so lets keep it going.
I tried a "new to me" technique last week that I'd been wanting to try ever
since hearing about it. Using a rose bud stamp, I stamped on an oval piece
of paper, antiqued it and used several layers of EP then did the cracked
glass technique...

We were doing so good then now nobody is posting again. What happened?
Here's a topic. Are y'all doing your Christmas cards? If so, have you
started? I am working on mine, but have quite a ways to go...maybe 100 or
so left. Is anybody trying a new technique this year? I'm using water
color...

Q: Inks by
Arondelle
I'm looking for recommendations for 2 types of stamping ink:
1. a permanent ink suitable for stamping on fabrics
2. a permanent, waterproof and pigment-based ink that can be used on
polymer clay
There are so many different types and manufacturers out there, it's hard
to find the proper types for...

xyron machines in general by
CoffeeNut
Hello All!
Have a question... I see and hear alot about "xyron" machines. What exactly
are they and I understand that there are several models? What do they do?
Just make stickers? They seem popular but I wanted to get some opinions
of actual xyron owners...
So - what are they exactly and...

elaborate or simple? I personally send out almost 100 cards so I think
that I will go with simple, but what about you?
Hey SAD, can we show and tell on this...

Embellishments question - buttons by
stampingmaniac
Hi! So I have these really cute ladybug buttons I was given that I'd
like to use on cards (looks like they were sold as embellishments not
as real buttons based on the packaging), but they have this plastic
loop on the back for thread to pass through rather than holes drilled
through the button,...

AD: Dewdrops! -- a pre-holiday bargain by
kelly
A lot of artists working with various materials have found my dichroic
"Dewdrops" to be a very handy addition/embellishment to their work. In
that spirit, I'm making them available at a starting bid of $2 less than
usual, and if you mention this ad, I'll provide the (USA only) s/h cost at
no...

Question about The Angel Company by
ckadams
Just a question---does any one know what kind of minimums demonstrators for
TAC must make? My friend is interested in TAC and Stampin Up and wants to
know the differences. I think she is leaning toward SU though.
Thanks in advance.

I also uploaded pics of our Halloween cards from earlier in the year.

Starting out by
Ddborger
Well gosh - that's a place to start. You will want something to clean your
stamps with - the cheapest route would be to use baby wipes that are alcohol
free. I don't know how easy those are to get in the uk?

Which paper crimper is best- Fiskars or Marvy? by
Jolly Green Stamper
Hey, just wondering if anyone used both the Fiskars and Marvy Uchida paper
crimpers and could tell me which one was best. The Marvy paper crimper
folds flat and comes in a nice pale blue, whereas the Fiskars crimper is
bulky and comes only in blue and orange- a rather ugly combo for a company
that...
