Bernina Virtuosa 150QE & CPS software by
Susan Luke
DH bought the software for me for Christmas, but for the life of me I can't
find where to plug the cable into my sewing machine! Lady at the store
doesn't know, and the owner won't be back for a few days. This is driving my
crazy! All the info on the Bernina website says it works with all...

Soul food by
C & S
I'm curious as to what everyone's favorite "pick me up food" is. Myself, I
love dark chocolate. I have a secret stash (which is not so secret anymore)
of Dove Dark chocolate (goes well with a latte). I'd also like to know when
the "Queen of Chocolate" on this ng will relinquish her title so that...

Polly's gators by
Sandy Foster
Okay, we'll all have to get busy here. One of Polly's gators is getting
so hungry for inept medical staff, rotten salespeople, etc., that it
tried to ring a doorbell to enter a home! I saw it on the news this
morning....

Europe quilt shops? by
Chris_Signe
Hi,
Thinking about taking a river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest. We would
be stopping in these following towns. Anyone know of quilt shops to stop
and visit? Ones located near the river would be easiest to access on brief
port stops.
Amsterdam, Netherlands;
Cologne, Rudesheim, Mainz,...

OT warning, bee in my bonnet by
Polly Esther
I am about to show you my worst side. Maybe not. Please just let me ask for
your feelings on a situation. You are in a doctor's office. You wait two
hours. You fill out a mountain of papers for information that could easily
have been obtained from the documents already on file. You are not...

What use is a wall hanging? by
Kate Dicey
This is an anthill question - poke with a sharp stick and see what happens!
Now basic lap and bed quilts make sense: I get cold, I need covering up!
Shared with a cat is even better!
Cushion covers: yup, they make sense!
Throws for furnitu oh, yes! Saves having to make a fitted slip
cover! ...

OT Country Charm cookstove by
Leslie& The Furbabies in MO.
I do not speak fluent 'online search', so I am asking for your help here
since Polly raised the question. Does anybody know anything about Country
Charm cook stoves? I *think* they are cast iron replica stoves. This one
is electric and has what appears to be a hand coffee grinder sitting on...

It's been a long time... by
amy in SoCal
Well, tonight the group is quiet. Not what I was expecting. But, then again, many of us do go over to the dark side (FB) more often than here. I am as guilty as anybody!
I was hoping to have pictures of my last few projects to share, but my old phone died and along with it, my pictures. I will...

Chemo Cap pattern wanted by
Kate G.[_2_]
Our guild wants to make Chemo caps as a charity project. I've googled a
bit... and am finding a lot of dead links.
Does anyone have a pattern using fleece for Chemo caps (adult &/or Children)
that they would be willing to share?
Thanks!

Summer Breeze Quilt by
[email protected]
This is one of the most unusual quilts I have ever made but not the last as you can do them in different colors. This quilt is done in blues and purples. Go to the internet, you don't have to put the www in, just type in Summer Breeze Quilt. When you get there, scroll down to Summer Breeze...

OT Rant about posts by
frood
Rant ahead.
I'm not sure when, or why it changed, but there used to be a time, not so
long ago, that people censored themselves. Things said in public were kept
to a certain level of politeness. Most people didn't curse in public. Most
people were careful about the audience they told off-color...

Need help/tips learning Free-Motion Quilting by
Pat S
I am an experienced sewer for 30+ years. I've been quilting for over 20,
machine piecing and usually hand-quilting. Any machine quilting I've done
is fairly straight sewing with a walking/even-feed foot. I turn envy-green
at the free-motion work, the skill it takes.
I have an almost new Brother...
